URLpipe is a small, independent API for developers who have a URL and need to know something about it: its Markdown, a screenshot, its metadata, its console errors, its Lighthouse scores.

Who
Who builds URLpipe
URLpipe is designed, built and operated by Roger Campos. A question sent to the contact address reaches the person who built the part you are asking about, and the answer comes from the code rather than from a support script.
It has been in development since May 2025. The changelog lists what has shipped, dated, and the engineering notes explain how the parts work and why they were built that way.
What
What URLpipe is for — and what it isn't
URLpipe answers per-URL questions. You send one address and ask for one or several results: Markdown, rendered HTML, a screenshot, metadata, an AI summary or keywords, console errors or a Lighthouse audit — or several of them off one page visit with /scrape. Pages are loaded in real Chrome, so sites that build themselves with JavaScript work.
It is deliberately not a crawler. It does not discover URLs, walk whole sites, extract a schema across thousands of pages, rotate through proxy pools, or run on your own servers. If that is the job, a crawling service will serve you better, and the comparison pages say which.

Where
Where it runs
Every page is fetched and rendered on our own infrastructure in the European Union, and results, request history and account data are stored there, on every plan. The URLs you submit are not handed to a third-party rendering service.
The one step that can leave the EU is the language model behind the three AI endpoints — /meta, /summarize and /keywords. An organization can keep that in the EU too, free, with one setting; see data residency. How keys, webhooks and your data are protected is on the security page.
