Metadata with the same keys on every page, at one credit
Everything a page says about itself, in a shape your code can rely on.
By Roger Campos · Last updated: September 2026
TL;DR
/meta answers with one object whose keys never change: title, description, site name, kind of page, language and locale, authors with their links, publication and update dates, the share image with its declared size, video, favicon, every icon, logo, feeds, keywords, canonical URL, robots, hreflang alternates, the oEmbed endpoint, the schema.org types, and the raw Open Graph and Twitter tags. A value the page doesn't declare is null or an empty list. It reads the page's declarations directly, so the same page always gives the same answer, and it costs 1 credit, down from 5.

This replaces the previous response. main_image_url is now image.url, author_name is authors[].name, publication_date is published_at and feed_url is feeds[].url; additional_author_information gives way to each author's url and profiles. Results stored in the old shape were cleared, so every response has the new one.
